FOOCoST at the Planetiers World Gathering

On 24th to 26th of October 2022, FOODCoST participated in the Planetiers World Gathering, the biggest international event for sustainable innovation in Portugal that brought together social and environmental impact projects, communities and cities, and the world’s most inspiring change agents.
In the 2022 edition, the event featured speakers such as David Simas (president of Obama foundation) or Gunter Pauli (entrepreneur, professor and author of “The Blue Bioeconomy”).
FOODCoST joined forces with other European funded projects namely (Transition2Bio, EnxylaScope, BlueRev, BtheNet, DIALOGUES, Women4RES, UrbanTech and BioGov.net) to co-organise the “EU Green Corner”, a dedicated space of 45 metres square where different aspects and sectors of sustainable innovation and bioeconomy will be addressed, such as:
- Bioeconomy-related business models
- Blue economy
- Sustainable food systems
- Education
- Governance
- Network
- Communication
- Gender equality
